The different areas of the Costa del Sol each have the peculiarities that make them unique. Starting from the north, Mijas is only about 20 minutes from Malaga International Airport making it the ideal place to spend short stays.
Not far from Mijas continuing south we enter Marbella by Elviria. Marbella's prestigious reputation has been built over the years. There are the biggest luxury brands in Puerto Banus, a large number of gourmet restaurants but also beautiful beaches and some of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe.
The small village of Benahavis has managed to make itself known little by little because it is home to some of the most beautiful properties on the hillside of the Costa del Sol. This somewhat high sea level situation allows it to enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar.
A little further south are the towns of Estepona, considered by many to be the future pearl of the coast, and the villages of Casares and Manilva. This area is wilder and enjoys a real charm that will convince lovers of authenticity, grandiose landscapes and prestigious golf courses such as that of the Finca Cortesin which has hosted several times the world championship.
At the southern extreme we arrive in San Roque and its exclusive seaside resort that is Sotogrande. Its marina, golf courses, polo club and beautiful properties make it a unique place. Sotogrande is only minutes from the British peninsula of Gilbraltar and less than 30 minutes from the international sailing capital, Tarifa.
