Benahavis is a Spanish municipality in the province of Malaga.
Benahavís is a mountain village located 7 km from the coast. It is situated between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda. Although it is called the dining room of the Costa del Sol because of its many restaurants and bars, it is one of the typical white villages of Andalusia with a remarkable Arab past.
From the castle of Montemayor, one can enjoy spectacular views of the Costa del Sol. Located in the south of the Serrania de Ronda, Benahavis is the most mountainous village on the Western Costa del Sol. The rivers that cross the territory are called Guadalmina, Guadaiza and Guadalmansa.
Benahavís mixes the traditional white villages of the province of Málaga with the modern tourist infrastructure of the 21st century. The municipality has a dozen golf courses, various resources for adventure sports in a beautiful natural environment and a varied gastronomic offer.
